Student Guidelines & Policies

Clear expectations so every student has a great learning experience.

Class Expectations

Come prepared with your tools installed and ready. Have your camera on when possible. Ask questions freely — there are no silly questions. Complete assignments before the next session.

Attendance Policy

We ask for 24 hours' notice for rescheduling. Two no-shows in a row will trigger a check-in from your mentor. Consistent attendance is key to steady progress.

Homework Policy

Short homework is assigned after each session. It's designed to reinforce concepts, not overwhelm you. Expect 30–45 minutes of practice between classes.

Code of Conduct

Be respectful and kind. No plagiarism — it's okay to struggle and ask for help. Support your fellow students. We're all here to learn and grow together.

Frequently Asked Questions

Quick answers to the most common questions from students and parents.

Parent Resources

How parents can support their child's coding journey and stay informed.

How to Support Your Child

Show interest in their projects. Ask them to teach you what they learned — it's the best way to reinforce new concepts. Keep screen time productive.

Progress Reports

Monthly reports from the mentor cover skills mastered, project portfolio growth, attendance, and personalized recommendations for next steps.

Communication Channels

Reach your child's mentor via WhatsApp or email. Get replies within 24 hours on business days. Schedule parent-mentor calls anytime.

  • Let them struggle a bit before helping; debugging builds resilience.
  • Visit the project showcase together to see what's possible.
  • Encourage them to explain their projects to siblings or friends.
  • Set a consistent study schedule so coding becomes a habit.
